It's that time of the year again for pre-registration to our Physical Education games course at Douglas College!
As part of the Sport Science course, “Games approach to Teaching and Coaching”, Douglas College, Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching
students are implementing a 9 class course for groups of students in grades 2- 10. The focus is on team work, fun, and the tactical components of
invasion/territorial (i.e., basketball, soccer, etc.) and net/wall (i.e., volleyball, badminton, etc.) games that transfer across team sports. The emphasis will be
learning games for understanding, fun, and quality physical education The main details of the course are contained below (please see PDF for complete details):

Dates: Mondays from 12:45-2:15pm, February 20 – April 10
Location: Douglas College Gymnasium, New Westminster Campus, 700 Royal Ave.
# of spots: 48 (4 groups of 12 in similar age/ability range)
Instructor/student ratio: 1/3
Cost: Free (or, donation to the Douglas College Foundation - Sport Science)
