The Place Maillardville Community Centre in Coquitlam has an ideal place for a regular get-together for our teens. They have a foosball table, a pool table, an air hockey table, space to play ball hockey etc. outside, a great selection of board games, and best of all, they're willing to let us use it! My son is really wanting/needing to connect with other homeschool preteens and teens on a regular basis, so I'm really hoping we can get this off the ground. The space is geared toward youth between 11-16, and this weekly get together will also be geared toward that same age group. The first drop in will be next week Friday Sept 16th from 12:30-3:00. The address is 1200 Cartier, which is just off of the intersection of Brunette and Laval. If you are familiar with Place Des Arts, this is literally walking distance from there.
