Homelearner Tribe Choir

Hi there,

The idea is that this will be a choir for homelearning families - where
parents and children of all ages are welcome! The younger children can play
and listen while the adults and older children sing, until they are ready to
join in.

The conductor, Patti Powell, specializes in working with all kinds of people
with varying degrees of singing and music experience (from zero to lots),
and especially those who believe they can't sing. Patti believes everyone
can sing, and that singing is a vital part of life. She knows how to make
it accessible to those who might be afraid to try, and knows how to inspire
those who are confident singers to give it their all! She is a kind and fun
person, and a wonderful singer herself.

The Family Tribe choir is starting up again!
Music made by the village - all ages welcomed and wanted
We had a short stint of the group back in the late spring of 2010, and we're starting up again, with the intention of making it a more solid and established gang! We're a choir primarily for Homeschooling people and their families.

Come and sing, get a dose of collective and community harmony.
Move your body, make friends, make some sound, learn about singing! We'll sing songs from many cultures. Play with rhythm and harmony.

We're all about having fun together and creating something supercool and beautiful.
Sound like fun? All welcome, whatever level of skill or lack thereof!
$10 per family. Packages available in the new year (e.g. 5 classes for $40).

We could start in the new year, but why wait? Let's whet our appetites for some singing now!

Our first dates:
November 16th 2:45 - 3:40pm
November 30th 2:45- 3:40pm, same place
December 14th same time, same place!
