Shakespeare Workshops in Vancouver & South Delta

During the past 10+ years, Mike has led over 20 Shakespeare workshops in Vancouver and South Delta. Using an abridged version of one of Shakespeare’s plays we create our own 60-minute presentation for family and friends. The focus of these workshops is to “play the play” in an environment of fun, inclusiveness, safety and respect. The workshops take place over the course of a month on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, with a final Friday evening presentation. These workshops are open to ages 8 – 18 and have included anywhere from 14 – 20 participants. The fee is usually in the $250 - $300 range.

Other Workshop Possibilities…

If there is a group of Homelearners from another area who wish to discuss the possibility of a Shakespeare workshop in your community, please don’t hesitate to contact Mike. He has also led various other theatre workshops, including mask, mime, physical theatre and theatre games, and is open to discussing any and all possibilities.
