I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the new Honeybee Centre Bees & Bugs Lab! Last year, we acquired the Bug Lab from New Westminster and combined it with our existing Bees & Pollinators workshop and tours to create one ultimate Bees & Bugs exhibit. The Bees & Bugs lab is a great opportunity to teach children about the importance of the environment, respect for invertebrates and plant life, and to show them some really cool live bugs.
Honeybee Centre will be having home learner days every second Wednesday from
October 2011 to March 2012. Come in for a self guided tour between 10:00am and 12:00pm and receive a 20-minute presentation including a beekeeping demonstration (weather permitting). This program will cost $5 for everyone three and older. Please call two week in advance to let us know when you will be arriving and how many people you will have in your group.
